About Him
I’ve never felt entirely comfortable with monogamy, and at this stage of life, I want to experience a non-exclusive relationship. I have a partner. She’s open to the idea of another woman in our lives and sees value in the extended degree of companionship that would result.
We don’t believe that such arrangement will cause the sky to fall down and feel that it actually has a great many real and tangible benefits for all concerned.
That’s it in a nutshell. A second “wife” for me. A companion for my partner. Oupa en twee oumas op die stoep. A menage a trois which, incidentally, does not mean a threesome, but simply means a household of three.
Not that living together is by any means essential but picture the scene: Two women who are friends and man in attendance to serve drinks and in general make both of you feel happy and fulfilled.
Consider also the bigger picture: Enhanced female energy. Supportive male energy. Less control. More freedom. Less isolation. More companionship and support. Matter of fact…all the essential elements of authentic matriarchy. What could be more natural or empowering?
Comes down to just having trust in one’s own judgement and wisdom and not conforming or kowtowing to a patriarchal mainstream relationship model that really doesn’t stand up to objective scrutiny and has more to do with “nurture” than it has to do with the laws of nature.
A more organic relationship would be a fair description. A relationship more closely aligned with biological and evolutionary reality, than dubious ideological concepts that give rise to terms such as soulmate, Prince Charming, Mr Right and the like.

Romantic delusions aside, human society at large is wildly non-exclusive and cheating is ubiquitous. Furthermore, sexual monogamy is non-existent in nature and by such direct definition alone it is unnatural.
To be clear, I respect the right of everyone to choose monogamy – just as I respect the right of others to choose different relationship platforms in order to find happiness and fulfilment.
Would suit an open-minded woman who would like to explore a more organic form of relationship model in her senior years. One step at a time of course and a simple friendship would be a good place to start.
